FineLine is a type 1, PostScript™ font designed for the Macintosh. It is fully compatible with systems running Adobe Type Manager™.
FineLine is a complete font with upper and lower cases, all punctuation marks, composite characters and numbers. Even some symbols and mathematical signs are included. As the name implies, the FineLine characters are very lightweight (their relative stroke size is about 10 em units). Consequently, if you use an ImageWriter®, even with ATM, unless you use sizes above 20 or so points, you may experience drop-outs in some characters. For smaller point sizes (14 points and less) the use of a laser printer is necessary for proper character rendition.
FineLine is installed like any other laser font. If you are unfamiliar with the procedure, please consult the Apple® Reference Manual that came with your computer or your font management software’s manual.
FineLine is shareware.
